Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with the straightening and correction of the position of the teeth.\n\nDental anomaly - crooked teeth, is a deviation from what is considered to be the normal position of the teeth. Dental anomaly is common in children and adolescents. Incorrect dental crowding and occlusion affect the health of the teeth, gums and temporomandibular joint over time. A deficient mastication can have unwanted consequences on the digestive tract.
